Prem Mandir is the temple that signifies the celestial love of Shri Radha Krishna. The shrine was the emanated by the vision of Saint Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj . He then bequeathed it to holy Brajbhoomi, the place close to the heart of Shri Radha Krishna. In Brajbhoomi, the temple lies in the periphery of Vrindavan on an area of 54 acres. It is like a jewel in Brij and is the most beautiful temple in the area. The temple was inaugurated in February 2012 and is administered by Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat which is an international non-profit trust which works towards spirituality, education and charity. The temple is so beautiful and blissful that it leaves it visitors in awe. The temple building is made of Italian marble and the lush green environs augment the exquisiteness of Prem Mandir. The divine idols of Shri Radha Krishna and Shri Sita Ram bless the shrine with their presence. The walls of the temple are ornamented by detailed carvings which project the life of Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha. Apart from the temple walls, Prem Mandir envelops various holy sculptures that depict various leelas of life saver Kanha Ji. Standing in midst of all the leelas of the Deity where Girdhari Krishna is holding Govardhan Parvat on his small finger or Balgopal is dancing on Kaliya Naag’s head, all these spiritual portrayals take one back in heavenly time. As the day progresses and sunsets the divine Prem Mandir shines out with special lightings which offer a breathtaking view to the devotees. The lighting changes color and setting in every 30 seconds which can leave one spellbound by the charm and beauty of the sacred premises. The temple also has a splendid musical fountain show which mesmerizes hundreds of people with its effect. The dancing water showers seem moving in sync with the kirtans and bhajans of the temple which is a heavenly experience in itself. The Saga Behind its existence -

Inspired by the grand architecture of Rang Ji Temple in Vrindavan, Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj is deemed to have vowed to build a magnificent temple in 1946. After 45 years in 2001, Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj laid the foundation stone of his dream, Prem Mandir. This noteworthy temple took 12 years to finally come in full shape. While 1000 skilled artists aided the sanctified carvings of the temple walls, the computerized robots helped to reproduce the leelas of Shri Radha Krishna into physical form. The cost of building this outstanding shrine was around 150 Crore Rupees.
